Garnier Ultra Blends Mythic Olive Deep Nourishing shampoo Review

Is there anything you keep changing often in the urge of finding better with each & every other choice??
I am talking about shampoo & conditioner, don’t take it other way. With the same endless search I stumbled upon this range from Garnier ultra blends which is relaunch of their earlier version of Garnier ultra Doux range. They have launched this Ultra blend range with the big event organized in Mumbai.
I bought this Garnier ultra Blends Deep Nourishing shampoo & conditioner from the local grocery shopping Centre. I was dying to change my shampoo after finishing two Patanjali kesh kranti Milk protein shampoo back to back. The fact is we girls love to experiment with our shampoo while the boys keep using the same boring shampoo their entire life. So let them be boring…

My Experience with Garnier Ultra Blends Mythic Olive Deep Nourishing shampoo:

The Shampoo comes in the olive green translucent bottle with golden flip cape. I like the translucent packaging of the product so that we can see exactly how much product is left in the bottle. The golden cap fits tightly so it is travel friendly. Basically I have very dry hair so I am always in search of moisturising shampoo hence I picked this deep nourishing range from their new Ultra Blends collection.

The consistency of the shampoo is like clear gel. The fragrance of the shampoo is like parle-G biscuit which i don't like & thank god it will vanish from hair in half an hour. I always like to dilute my shampoo with water before applying to hair. Normally one time application is enough to wash hair completely with this shampoo as it leathers well. However if I had applied oil in my hair then I need at least two wash to completely clean the scalp & hair from dirt & oil. I had used this shampoo without its conditioner to know the capability of it on its own but miserably it failed to provide any nourishment to my hair. Then I coupled it with the conditioner of the same range which works fine for my hair. So for my dry hair it proves as an average shampoo with attractive packaging. It can work well for normal hair though.

Most of the shampoos contain harmful chemicals like paraben to increase the shelf life of the product, which can affect adversely to our hormones. Garnier marketed this range as paraben free range so it is good that at least one harmful chemical is removed from the shampoo however we cannot call it totally herbal or organic as it contains many other chemicals also. Garnier is the first brand to launch paraben free hair care range in India at budget price. So three cheers for them..

Final Verdict:

I am not in love with this product nor hate this product. It’s an average shampoo nothing great about the same. I will not repurchase the same range but I will purchase some other range from this Garnier Ultra Blends collection.
